Getting to feel like I have my own personal shower at the Old Faithful Inn.......took one and read the book in the lobby for about 3 hours......lots of people watching.
Ate lasagna for lunch at one of the cafeterias....it was pretty gross. It’s always interesting to watch and talk to the foreign kids working all over the park. Last year I was here earlier in the season and the kids hadn’t figured out how to beat the system......this afternoons lunch crew representing the country of Jordan had figured out a way to take turns sitting and doing nothing at a table out of sight of the bosses......
Wanted to fish Indian Creek for brook trout so I made the effort to drive the hour each way to do so........it did not disappoint........it was so fun and easy I decided to move on.
Checked the elusive yellow bellied marmot off my list of animals to see in the park.
Hit the (Billy) Madison River one the way out of the park.....this river has always had my number......again, trout rising everywhere and I just didn’t have the fly. I found out later at the fly shop that neither did anyone else....
