A day at the mall....made good use of the food court and it’s wi-fi to catch up on the blog....managed to sample most food offerings in the immediate vicinity of typing.....was there for probably 5 hours. Before leaving I bought Montana University Grizzlies hat like everyone else.
Passed through the Flathead Indian Reservation on the way up to Glacier National Park......the annual park pass finally pays for itself heading thru the entry gait. Manage to get one of the remaining four campsites, take a walk to the visitor’s center, get some ice cream served by the park service’s usual foreign legion. I check out the lake and notice some pretty wild skies, walk back to the camper in the dark, and go to sleep.
I will discover tomorrow that the area of Montana I was in was one of the few that was spared from some torrential rains and serious storms that day.....the front pages of the papers show photographs massive flooding to areas a mere 200 miles away.
